If Skywind release is questionable, Skyblivion might as well be abandonware. Skyblivion is a straight up port job which makes it easier to do but it's also completely understaffed, most of the talent they have is working on Skywind 1st. I sincerely doubt Skywind will see the light of day. That being 's been a looooooong time since then and there's still no alpha/beta for Skywind which leads me to think that they can't get enough volunteers to help out. The creators have just shared a new video showing the progress of the work.

After nine years since the project began, the results are increasingly impressive.

They had to cater to these people because good content creators are hard to find and it was a relatively small concession to make in order to keep them happy. Skywind is a mod that recreates The Elder Srolls III: Morrowind from 2002 on the engine of the fifth installment, namely Skyrim Special Edition from 2016. We'd have a alpha/beta version but there was some drama about content creators being concerned about asset theft, so they took down the old alpha and never hosted a new alpha once they had enough content, which they certainly do at this point. That put them back by about 2 years, they also had an influx of exeptionally bad or inactive contributors which delayed things further. They had to create a new height map for Skywind which in turn basically meant redoing everything that wasn't asset creation, dialogue or a backend script.
